Welcome to Surviving Italy

This site is aimed at foreigners that have arrived in Italy or live in Italy, whether you are new to Italy or been here for years.

You will find all the information you need to open a bank account, get a health card, even visa information.

We provide contact details for the embassy’s, details of places you can order online from. Gas, Electric, Mobile and so on.

Keep checking back as the site is constantly updated with more and more information.

This is your one stop shop for everything regarding Italy as a foreigner.

For those that ask, the image is taken in Serino, its part of the Mount Terminio range of mountains.

The site is so called, because when you first come to Italy, the bureaucracy, the paper work, the getting things done can seem a nightmare, so this is all about surviving that. Italy is a wonderful country, but it can be very difficult for someone new.
