Italy has very good Internet coverage, but in some smaller areas where there is no fixed line coverage, you can get wireless, one of the most well known providers is Linkem.
Price wise its similar to fixed line broadband, so you won’t get ripped off just because you cant get a landline or fixed broadband.
Customer service isn’t the best, but the service works well.
You can actually join in most mobile phone shops if you don’t want to do it online.
They also do a prepaid option, which is great for holiday homes, so you have no long term commitment.
